[Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs] was introduced as a collaborative case study to the global company Dell Technologies.
Creating a high-level full 3D animation like [Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs] required a huge amount of data management, Also, the level of equipment and technology that had to support this was a big challenge at the time.


[Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs], Hollywood-level full 3D animation, used the largest amount of data in Korean 3D animation history.
Each scene generated more than gigabyte of data traffic while expressing details such as the character’s skin, hair blowing in the wind, wrinkles on the skirt, and movement of the grass, for example, about 15TB (terabytes) of data was collected in a 15-minute battle scene.


In the case of [Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs], required strong network connectivity and storage performance to support more than 200 creators pouring results from their PCs, and hundreds of servers and workstations performing rendering tasks all connected to storage.
